I joined College Liftoff as the Director of Social Impact after seeing the results College Liftoff produced for my family firsthand. I myself was a client of College Liftoff–and through putting my son through the program, we saved over $100,000 in college costs! Now, I am a huge believer and advocate for College Liftoff’s work. Previously, I worked in fundraising and development for over 15 years… and I’m passionate about the availability of higher education to all students regardless of their circumstances. I have demonstrated experience with New Americans and people with disabilities. In 2016, I was appointed as Treasurer to the New American Advisory Council formed by the Franklin County Commissioners and serves as the Education Committee Chair. I also volunteer as a grant writer at a Somali non-profit organization, Our Helpers.
